Episode 35: The Meaning of Life (Monty Python's meaning, that is)

This week is a discussion of one of Kindred's favorite movies. "A spectacle of humour and good fun for (almost) the whole family!" -Kindred, right now while writing this description. Riley and Kindred get right down to it and have a political discussion in the middle of the movie discussion. Political discussions, can't live with 'em, can't live without 'em, eh? Riley forces Kindred to listen to one of her favorite albums, and Kindred (spoiler alert) isn't super into it. They discuss the oversaturation of media, and Riley wonders "by jove, what IS that sound my mic is picking up?" It's nothing if not a professional time, as always.

As I sit down to write this summary (hi, yes, it's me Kindred) I'm thinking about how many times I said the word, "right" in this episode as a response to Riley. It sounds disinterested, but I assure you that it's not. Now that we know Riley's word is "like" and mine is "right" we can all move forward with our lives. But you're not reading this description to know what I'm thinking in this moment (or what I'm currently eating . . . Chili Cheese Fritos, thanks for asking) you're reading this to figure out what the hell you're about to lisen to, and so I'll tell you. In this episode of this Extremely Important Podcast(tm), nipples are discussed in three separate anecdotes and so is a man sifting through his child's poop. Enjoy! 

Episode 32: Rebels Without An Easter

In a strange and ill-timed attempt to have an Easter episode, Riley and Kindred discuss Rebel Without a Cause. They wonder aloud if they have become dead inside and talk at some length about American Girl dolls. Later, Riley edits the episode and actively wonders if there is some service or therapy that exists that can help her to stop saying "like" in virtually every sentence she speaks.

Episode 31: Terms of Endearment won how many Oscars?

This week Riley and Kindred watched a movie nobody asked for a review on, Terms of Endearment. Kindred has some thoughts about the title of this podcast that she can't put into words and Riley has some thoughts about Mormonism that she CAN put into words. In today's episode, Riley and Kindred attempt to actually discuss the album of music they have chosen to review. Things get off to a good start when they both completely derail to investigate Kindred's father's secret rapping talent and Riley's OSHA training at work.
