Episode 64: Two Unfathomably Mediocre Christmas Albums
Wednesday Dec 26, 2018
Wednesday Dec 26, 2018
Things to look forward to in this Very Christmassy Episode:
1. In a fun throwback, Riley's audio is once again sub-par in a big echoey room. Lots of clips whenever she uses the letter "P."
2. Kindred has the sniffles, but she also has a delicious snack.
3. Riley makes up a weird boring game with a vague Thanksgiving theme.
4. Kindred proposes a new daring take on Christmas celebrations.
"I wonder if they offer classes on writing Podcast descriptions," she wonders to herself, dogs asleep at her side, dust accumulating on the TV stand. "I seem to struggle with this more and more every week. Is it me? Or is it something bigger? Something... in the air this time of year? Maybe it's the solstice; maybe it's the looming sense of adulthood crushing in on me."
She looked behind her, out of the cold window already dirty with dog nose-prints. The sun had already nearly faded behind the blue and purple mountains at only 5:07 pm. "I miss the olympics."

Dead parent? Check. Selfish rich girl who needs to learn the meaning of Christmas? Check. Homeless insightful guy AND a gay best friend? Check and check. Kindred and Riley enjoy this incredibly bland movie that hits all the beats of a classic, made-for-sad-people Christmas tale. 'Tis the season, am I right ladies???

You're gonna DEFINITELY want to listen to this episode listeners! Sure, I couldn't come up with a title to make you want to click and give it a listen, but that's not what this podcast has ever been about! That probably makes you ask, "Then what IS this podcast all about?" To which I reply, "I've got food poisoning and I need a bathroom, where the HELL is the bathroom in this place?!" And after you tell me I rush down the hallway and get completely lost because this building is some sort of a labyrinth and, hold on, are you a sphinx?
In any case, I hope you enjoy this episode and click on it even though the title leaves much to be desired. We like you and thanks for listening.

It will also teach you everything you don't need to know about Kindred and Riley's feelings about various holidays and all about the time they painted a mural in an elementary school.

Episode 58: Gerald's Game ft. Triscuit and Cheese
Sunday Oct 28, 2018
Sunday Oct 28, 2018
Hello everyone. It's me, Riley. This episode is all about the Netflix "Original" movie Gerald's Game, but I don't want to talk about that in this description. I want to talk about the fact that I am eating Triscuit crackers and cheddar cheese throughout nearly the entire length of the episode. The munching sounds are truly annoying, but what is even more annoying is something I discovered about myself during the editing of this episode. It would seem that in my mind, Triscuit crackers are just called "Triscuit," even if you have dozens of them. Apparently, I have operated under the assumption that this noun would be pluralized like fish or moose. "I ate one Triscuit." "I ate 400 Triscuit." "I am eating Triscuit and cheese." Why would my mind decide such a thing? All I can argue is that something deep inside me knows the truth. Saying Triscuits is just plain wrong. I'm almost certain there is a bible verse about it. So that's that then, eh? God himself has settled the matter, and my assumptions are confirmed as truth. Thank you.

Kindred and Riley review The Endless, a movie that could have been good but really, really wasn't. They both tell very boring stories of their own and try to get the song "House of the Rising Sun" out of their brains.
